BVEH believes that our efforts to educate veterinarians and horse owners is important in improving the welfare of the horse. Our goal is to host at least one approved CE training for veterinarians and at least one educational seminar for horse owners. Our current schedule of events is listed below.

2012 BVEH Event Schedule

Camelid Fertility Seminar and Clinic
March 3, 2012 - Navasota, Texas

BVEH welcomes back Dr. Toni Cotton. Dr. Cotton will present a morning of lectures on maximizing fertility and maintaining pregnancy. In the afternoon she will be performing fertility exams on alpacas.

A meet and greet fundraiser social will be held Friday March 2nd. All proceeds from weekend will go toward purchase of a camelid restraint chute and camelid facilities at BVEH in Navasota

Osteoarthritis Clinical Trial
Brazos Valley Equine Hospital – Navasota is excited to participate in a clinical trial evaluating the benefit of a new investigational intra-articular treatment for osteoarthritis. If you believe that your horse may be a candidate for this trial, please contact our office. Patients must be at least 2 years of age and lame in one joint or one limb with radiographic evidence of arthritis.
