Started by Dr. Terrell "T-Bone" Buchananin 1967, the
Brazos Valley Equine Hospital is headquartered in
Navasota, Texas. The current facility was built in
1988; additions and upgrades completed in 1994, 1997 and
2006 have expanded the hospital to its current 25,000
square foot facility with pens/stalls for 50 equine
patients.

Dr. Marty Tanner corrects an umbilical hernia while Dr. Miranda Gosselin observes. Almost every basic and advanced surgery is performed by the surgeons at the Brazos Valley Equine Hospital including arthroscopies and colic surgery.
Dr. Terrell “T-Bone” Buchanan injects a horses hocks with steroids and hyaluronic acid in the primary exam room. This outpatient exam room is used for lameness exams, pre-purchase evaluations, and physical exams.
Dual chambered fluid pumps allow for tight regulation of medications including insulin, intravenous nutrition, pain medications, and anti-inflammatories.
