Brazos Valley Equine Hospital – Navasota is excited to participate in a clinical trial evaluating the benefit of a new investigational intra-articular treatment for osteoarthritis. If you believe that your horse may be a candidate for this trial, please contact our office. Patients must be at least 2 years of age and lame in one joint or one limb with radiographic evidence of arthritis.

Patients will receive:
1. A comprehensive diagnostic workup including lameness localization and radiographs
2. Complete blood and chemistry screening
3. Intra-articular therapy for arthritis if they meet the criteria for the trial
4. $100 cash or credit on their account if they complete the trial

Patients must be available for examination for 5 days after injection and by telephone 12 days after injection. Patients may not be ridden or worked for 5 days after injection.
